What is the minimum age requirement for a tattoo?

You must be 18 or older with a valid government-issued ID. Coastline Tattoo does not tattoo minors, even with parental consent.

How should I prepare for my tattoo?

Eat beforehand, stay hydrated, bring reference photos, avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment, and arrive clean and rested.

How does pricing work?

Pricing is based on size, detail, placement, and artist. A deposit is required for appointments and goes toward the final cost.

Does it hurt? Does placement matter?

Pain levels vary by placement—arms and thighs tend to be easier; ribs, feet, and spine are more sensitive.

What is the aftercare process?

Follow your artist’s instructions: keep the bandage on as directed, wash gently with unscented soap, moisturize lightly, avoid sun, sweating, swimming, and scratching until fully healed.
